History:
Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship in the fleet of Royal Caribbean International. The vessel was ordered in February 2006 and designed under the name "Project Genesis". The ship was completed and turned over to Royal Caribbean on 28 October 2009.
Ship Exterior Views:
Central Park: The Central Park neighborhood on the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas cruise ship is a beautiful outdoor park area located midship on deck 8. Flanked on both sides by 324 inward-facing balcony staterooms overlooking the park, shady Central Park features winding pathways, flower gardens, quiet seating, and tropical trees. Much like the Boardwalk neighborhood, Central Park is lined with shops, restaurants, and bars. However, unlike the Boardwalk, most of these Central Park venues are upscale and geared towards adults rather than families. The shops include a Coach store, art gallery, and portrait studio. The restaurants include Chops Grille, upscale and exclusive 150 Central Park, Giovanni's Table Italian restaurant, and the Park Cafe. Guests can find a drink at the outdoor Trellis Bar and Vintages wine bar is next to Giovanni's Table. Rising Tide, an innovative moving bar, links Central Park and the Royal Promenade on deck 5. The two-deck sparkling Dazzles night club overlooks the park.
Aqua Theater: The Aqua Theater has both a daytime water show called "Splish Splash", and a nighttime show called "Oasis of Dreams". Eighteen performers--6 divers, 4 synchronized swimmers, 2 specialty divers, and 6 acrobats perform in the Aqua Theater and its 17-foot, 9-inch deep pool. Three pool lifts, lighting, and underwater cameras enhance the shows. The divers use 3 different locations--the 3 meter springboards and two spots on the huge towers--one at 10 meters and the other at 18 meters. Guests can watch the show live and on its two huge video screens. Those in the aft Boardwalk-view balcony cabins and suites will have great seats. In addition to the water shows, the Aqua Theater has dancing fountains with four types of nozzles, including on nicknamed "gargoyle" that shoots high enough to hit the Crown & Anchor RCI logo over the pool.
Royal Promenade: The Royal Promenade is much like on the Voyager and Freedom-class ships, but has some new, surprising enhancements such as the Crystal Canopies on the roof.
Sports Deck: Oasis of the Seas - Sports Deck on the Oasis of the Seas.
Pools Deck & H2O Fun Zone: The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas is large enough to feature seven distinct neighborhoods. Two of these are the (1) Pool and Sports Zone and the (2) Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center.
Boardwalk: The AquaTheater in the Boardwalk neighborhood features water shows such as professional diving and theatrical performances in this pool amphitheater.
Staterooms Overlooking Boardwalk: Six AquaTheater Suites, 221 Boardwalk-view balcony staterooms, and eight Boardwalk-view window staterooms overlook the Boardwalk of the Oasis of the Seas.
Boardwalk Carousel: The Sea Carousel will be the centerpiece of the Boardwalk. Specially hand-crafted for Royal Caribbean from poplar wood, the full-sized, traditional carousel will feature 21 figures suspended from stainless steel poles, showcasing a time-honored menagerie of animals such as zebras, giraffes and lions, alongside a variety of hand-painted horses, including a princess horse and a crowned frog prince. The lead horse, customarily the fanciest horse of the carousel, will be adorned with Royal Caribbean logos, while a single chariot will serve as a stationary seat for two. The frame of the carousel will have a red and golden yellow facade, turn-of-the-century artwork scenery panels, and LED lights that twinkle during the day and night.
Chops Grille Steakhouse Restaurant: Steakhouse Grill Features Indoor and Outdoor Seating on Oasis of the Seas
Champagne Bar: The Champagne Bar is found on the Royal Promenade of the Oasis of the Seas
Jazz Club: Entertainment Place is one of seven neighborhoods on the Oasis of the Seas.

Antonio's Table Restaurant: Influenced by the Tuscan countryside, Antonio's will be a casual new Italian restaurant concept offering toasted herbal breads, pizzas, salads, pastas, Italian sandwiches, braised meat dishes and stews. Rustic with a contemporary flair, dishes will be served family-style in an indoor and outdoor setting to provide an alfresco experience in Central Park. Open for lunch and dinner.
Comedy Live Club: Those in need of a good belly laugh will be drawn to Comedy Live, the comedy club where headline acts will interact with the audience and provide engaging and customized performances each evening.
Opal Theater:
Boleros Bar & Lounge: Boleros has a Latin theme, a live salsa band, and is located on the Royal Promenade of the Oasis of the Seas.
Madame Zamara's - Psychic and Tattoo Parlor
Schooner Bar: There's nothing quite like relaxing in a nautical-themed bar when you're at sea, especially if you're in the Schooner Bar, a Royal Caribbean signature bar and guest favorite. In the evening, you may find a crowd gathered around the piano singing along with any one of the talented piano players featured.
Adults-Only Solarium: Adults-Only Solarium has its own freshwater pool and terrific seating in the sun or shade.
Spa & Fitness Center: Oasis of the Seas' spa and fitness options include a thermal suite, a spa cafe, the largest gym at sea and a dedicated youth spa area.
